This Privacy Policy forms an integral part of the General Terms of Use (GTU). Terms defined in the GTU have the same meaning in this document. It describes how EFORSA collects, uses, and protects the personal data provided by users when using the EFORSAIR application.

By accessing and using EFORSAIR, the user accepts the terms of this policy, which may be amended at any time without prior notice.

I. Type of data collected

EFORSA collects and processes personal data provided by users when accessing and using the EFORSAIR platform, as well as navigation data and user preferences (such as IP addresses).

The data collected is used for the following purposes:
• creating and managing user accounts
• improving services (via cookies)
• sending commercial offers

Personal data collected may include:
• first and last name
• email address
• company name
• phone number

EFORSA never collects or processes sensitive data as defined by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), such as racial or ethnic origin, health data, political, philosophical or religious opinions, or sexual orientation. Users must not store such information via EFORSAIR under any circumstances.

II. Non-personal data and cookies
i. Traffic and navigation data

Traffic data is generated automatically when connecting to the site but does not, by itself, identify the user. This may include:
• source of the connection
• browser type and version
• duration of session, etc.

This information is used for statistical purposes and service improvement and is processed anonymously.

ii. Cookies

EFORSA uses cookies stored on users’ devices. These small files may include information related to:
• user authentication
• visit origin
• language or country of connection

Cookies are required to access EFORSAIR. Users may configure their browser to refuse cookies or be notified prior to their installation. However, disabling cookies may limit the experience or prevent access to certain platform features.

III. Processing of personal data

EFORSA collects and processes users’ personal data in a fair, lawful, and transparent manner, in compliance with applicable regulations. EFORSA is the data controller within the meaning of the GDPR.

The processing of personal data is declared to the French Data Protection authority (CNIL).

IV. Storage of personal data
i. Security

Personal data is stored on EFORSA’s secure servers. EFORSA implements appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect data against loss, alteration, unauthorized access, or disclosure.

Certain data may be retained to meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce contractual rights.

ii. Account deletion

Users may request deletion of their account in accordance with the GTU. Associated data will be deleted by EFORSA unless otherwise required by section i. above.

V. Transfer of personal data

Some personal data (name, email, etc.) may pass through EFORSA’s service providers for notifications or email delivery, using services such as MailChimp, Mailjet, or SendGrid.

EFORSA may also transmit personal data if required by law or upon request from a judicial authority.

VI. Communications from EFORSA

EFORSA may send electronic communications (emails) to users for:
• technical or administrative reasons
• service updates
• commercial offers

Users may unsubscribe from these communications at any time.

VII. User rights

In accordance with the French IT Law No. 78-17 of January 6, 1978 and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR — EU Regulation 2016/679), all users have the following rights:
• right of access to their personal data
• right of rectification
• right to object
• right to deletion
• right to restrict processing
• right to data portability
